A year or two ago, I read a story about a recently retired vet on a motorcycle rescuing a father and daughter from a car wreck. The father was an alpha of a werewolf pack, and the vet was a not associated with any pack due to being an orphan. The story revolves around how he becomes part of the pack. It was incomplete at the time, and I was recently reminded of it, but failed to find it when searching. Does anyone recognize the story?

I enjoyed the story too and was unsuccessful in finding it. Unfortunately I don't remember the author/title. Hopefully someone will point us in the right direction.
