Sigh. My turn for an attack of CRS.
All I remember about the story is the teenage male MC jogging near a military base. I think it was an air force base.
MC noted a strange civilian watching and photographing the base, especially the radome.
He tells the police and sees the car at a motel in town later.
The motel owner or manager calls him when the stranger checks out of the motel.
Don't remember how he did it, but he helps the military guards catch the intruder. Unfortunately, the guards hadn't been issued ammo for their rifles and MC shoots the intruder when he pulls a gun.
Anyone recognize the story?
