Was listening to the radio the other night and they had a story about a English conductor that died recently.
It got me remembering a tiny bit about a story I read some time ago about a middle school/high school student that becomes a master/world renown music conductor in school. His girl is also a great singer.
I believe the story is long taking most of the school years.
The male also receives a gift of a conductor's baton which he enjoys getting.
This is about all I remember of the story, but thought it was decent at the time, and would like to read it again.
