I think I asked about this once before but next week I turn 80. So I'm allowed to forget! Do over: Teenager is abused by his mother and step father. Eventually goes to live with his uncle and aunt. His aunt introduces him to his real father, a mechanic who owns several garages. He also meets his paternal grandparents who treat him well. He and granddad make a small fortune in Vegas and mom tries, unsuccessfully, to get her share. Eventually he moves into a refurbished fire station. Some sex but a small portion of the story.
