I think that was the title.
Bomber crew hiding their plane (B52, maybe?) by moving around between bases to avoid being found and destroyed. Had a female crew member that was being sought since she was still fertile when a lot of other females weren't anymore. Radiation issues from some bombings, maybe?
I remember the story and may even have it downloaded, but with a couple thousand downloaded stories it might take me a while to find it. Wish me luck!
PuffDragon is a prime candidate when it comes to stories with B52s and a female MC, but neither of the two main candidates (Fangs and Wings, Kayla's Flight) look to be particularly good matches. Both were abandoned over 10 years ago now.
She has pulled a few stories over the years (her blog gives an indication as to where they could be found) but none of them looks to be that likely either.
Yes! That was the author's name. From her blog, the title was actually "Last American Bomber." Looks like she pulled it and some others for publishing elsewhere.

Glad to hear it. I had random memories of scenes from that one (like sleeping in or under the buff waiting movement orders) but not the whole thing. Hope she gets it spruced up enough to publish. I remember digging the storyline quite a bit back in the day.
