Then he can rewrite her much like in the movie "weird science". I think it used to be here. He pulled it just before finishing and took it commercial. Also had a story about a girl in a fish bowl.

was it specifically an iMac or just a Mac in general?
I ask as I still remember watching the 1984esq ad for the first true Mac, strangely enough in iirc 1984. The addition of the 'i' is, to me at least recent. around 2000 or there abouts. yes I know we're further from that date than it was to 1984 but I have fond memories of 'cutting my teeth' on an Apple II, unsure of sub-variant.
On a similarly nostalgic note, 'You've got Mail' features an online relationship between a 'Think_Pad' toting suit (Tom Hanks) and 'Macbook' with the old-school rainbow striped apple logo wielding creative spirit (Meg Ryan). A nicely placed and often overlooked social commentary on their different outlooks on life that is still true today, from a brand image point, even after the addition of the 'i' and 'think_pad' no longer being an 'IBM' brand.
All that aside I'd love to read this story if someone can find it...
Mac I think, it was before cell phones. It started when they were doing a class project on brain waves. He used a baseball cap o hold the sensors.
