MMC had grandfather (?) die leaving him a warehouse. The deceased was a maker and seller of devices to superheroes and the warehouse was used to make them. One of his early contacts was to a girl with a superhero name on something like Bumblebee or perhaps another flying insect. As I recall the father was never interested in making things, but the grandson was.
