If I remember correctly, the protagonist is the son of a prominent family who decides to go on a walkabout space travel in a ship with an AI. He may have a goal in mind to find his fortune. He comes across another ship that may have been attacked and/or taken over by pirates? Or the ship may have broken down. In any case, there are two women on the ship, and one is a princess but does not identify herself to him. He takes them back to their home planet.
