Hello everyone, hope you can help my faulty memeory:
The story is of a young man who plays football and eventually makes it to the pros. He has medical issues and has to retire early. Has a wife, son and daughter. I think the daughter was blind and both kids ended up at Stanford (?). For some reason I think the MC played for the 49ers. I just recently read "Game of Inches" and it made me think of this one.
I already tried searches for football and Stanford but didn't have any luck. Thanks in advance for your assitance!
