I saw it last week and haven't been able to find it. It was about a disabled vet that gets put into a new body after he visits a white room I think. I think it's kind of avatar-y or it's a game world since he still has his original body, he didn't die. There are portals I think that let him travel around. At one point he's in a cave and there's a sniper I believe. I think they were also at Atlantis? I got a game of thrones vibe at times. It was fantasy-ish but he was originally from "the real world". I stopped reading around the time they visited Atlantis
Also looking for the story of the teen who killed himself but then he absorbed the consciousness of himself from an alternate universe. I think they were at a mall the first time? He ended up doing it maybe 8 times or whatever. I don't remember if this story was on this website
