I'd have a better chance of making sense of your story description it it had punctuation in it. Complete sentences would help, too.

Possible translation.
Single wagon heading to California. (19th Century setting? Before or after Civil War?)
Escorted by a wagonmaster & two scouts.
Father (On the wagon? In California?) is killed by his father-in-law.
Son is abandoned in the desert (By his grandfather?), but survives.
Son meets an uncle living as a mountainman, suffers from gigantism, who dies.
Son is fostered by one of three people who had also been on the wagon, a lady bookstore owner. Others are a lady restaurant owner and a male school teacher.
Son has a girlfriend / acquaintance whos father is a ships captain working out of Californian ports.

Doesn't ring a bell for me.

@Radagast

This is a Louis L'amour book. The Lonesome Gods.

I think I read this one several years ago, just a guess but it could possibly be a set of stories by https://storiesonline.net/a/The_Old_Guy and would then be Premier only.
1. https://storiesonline.net/s/48813/i-fell-through
2. https://storiesonline.net/s/48822/a-new-life
3. https://storiesonline.net/s/49170/what-the-future-may-bring (unfinished).
This is more a case of "I don't think it could be anything else" than "that's it!".

Sparky has it right - the Lonesome Gods by Louis L'Amour. Paperback and hardcover western. Haven't seen it online as an ebook or whatever, but it probably is.

@XofDallas

It's in the LibGen collection in various formats, possibly other shadow libraries as well.
