Looking for a store I read years ago about 8 years ago I guess takes place somewhere up north it's I think the first one is got to do with a train it's snowing and there's a big fire in the next town at a warehouse a later story is about the dog sleds dog sled race along the rail tracks a couple others I can't remember them all I think couple was made into books later on I'm not don't quite remember can you help me find the story please

The dog sled race was - I think - in https://storiesonline.net/s/56019/runners-moon although https://storiesonline.net/s/53936/busted-axle-road is set between the two (Snowplow Extra and Runners Moon) and is also relevant.
Wes Boyd has a number of stories related to those two on the site managed by his estate - including the mention of characters participating in other dogsled races.
Last time I looked he had several stories on Beyond the Far Horizon, Gina Marie's website as well.
A large number of his stories are on BtFH, all of them are on his own site. He revised some of his stories, on his own site. They are also labelled "Book n of the Spearfish Lake Series", or "Bradford Exile", or "Dawnwalker", just not with links as they are here on SOL.
