Has anyone heard anything from Don Lockwood recently? He posted back in 19 he was writing again but nothing since.

That date is pretty much meaningless, all it means is that someone last updated his entry in the "inactive contributors" database in January 2022.
He could have logged in yesterday, that date would remain unchanged.

Correct. The displayed data was updated at the date mentioned after "This page was last updated on:". A data update can be anything from a complete rewrite to fixing a single typo and would automatically change the mentioned date.
It was a bad day when he stopped writing and then said he was going to start again was a good thing. He was very good at the romantic and character development. Pity we lost his talent.
If he is gone, perhaps we can call him Frank again. Better Don than Donald, but frankly I prefer Frank. Maybe because Don Key sounds like an ass. Lock(wood) reminds me of a Key.
I would say not. If you remember he changed to Don when his life circumstances changed and he didn't want people to know he was writing what some would consider 'soft porn.' Just because he isn't writing now doesn't mean we can out him by going back to the prior name.
Also, Richard, I've noticed that most of your posts don't really contribute anything to the discussion in progress. This post is a good example of this I'm going to paraphrase an old saying: "If you can't say something good, don't say anything at all!" In this case, did your attempt at humor contribute anything to the ongoing discussion? Not in my opinion.
There was one particular post around a month ago which went way past annoying. It was a discussion on a story which had been removed here shortly before, and where it was to be found.
We all know that direct links to "competing sites" cause the thread to be removed. Guess who posted a direct link.
It would actually make sense for Lazeez to rethink that policy, deleting the post and banning the poster from the Forum for a week (or a year in this case) would make more sense. As things stand, if I got tired of a discussion I could post a deep link to a story on Lit, and Boom! No thread.
