When comparing the Wynter King series of stories by the late Russell Hoisington and The Trailer Park series of stories by "Wizard," I am wondering if they were the same author.
Of course, the Wynter King stories stopped because of the sad passing of the author, Russell Hoisington. I would have loved to see what would have happened with the group of kids, and Brinkley Ward; did they reconcile and becoming friends. And what about Suzi and her nemesis swimming competitor (I forget her name): did they become friends? And did Suzi ever help Brinkley learn to swim? Or what would have happened with De Ramirez's brother.
The Trailer Park stories featured "cameo appearances" of characters from the Wynter King stories. This is nothing new. Many authors share permissions to use each others' characters or "story universes" for cross-over stories.
I notice, though, that The Trailer Park series was never completed (it is missing "The Sixth Year" and/or the second road trip). Again, I wonder, for example, if Traci and Peter (and Tony and Peter) would have reconciled. And did Tony and Tami get married after their high-school graduation?
I also notice that both authors seemed to have stopped writing around the same time (Russell Hoisington's last post was not long after "Wizard's" last post).
So all of this makes me wonder if Hoisington and Wizard were actually one and the same author.
Does anyone know?
Thanks,
