That's a bit extreme, and it sounds like a kid pouting, yelling "I'm going home, and I'm taking my ball with me".
As I've said, I can understand and relate to your issues, and they are justified, but instead of acting on your beliefs, you instead seem to be attacking the choir--that who primarily agree with you. That's not an attack on your views, but a plea to tone down the over-the-top rhetoric.
I don't think anyone objects to the religion discussion, but many were upset that you were accusing people of things they never stated or believe.
In my 'civil rights' analogy, you'll notice that the March on Washington and the Black Lives Matter movement don't attack Jews, Gays and Muslims, because it's counter productive. Instead of picking fights with those who agree with you, you gain more by appealing to common interests.
Just because someone doesn't publicly decry Christianity doesn't mean they won't stand up against the abuses of organized religion. This "all or nothing" approach is simply misguided.
That said, no one is calling for you to leave. I made a comment in the "Editors and Reviewers" section to not make religion comments to prevent a duplicate discussion, but that was not intended to shut you down.
If you stay, and I encourage you to remain, continue to state your opinions. I just suggest you double-check your responses before hitting the final "Post" button, just to ensure you're not overreacting to relatively innocent comments. (I do that frequently (make stupid comments without reading my responses over), so I can relate to what you've encountered.)
The attempts here weren't directed against you, or your beliefs, but were simply trying to clarify people's positions.
