Who is your favourite long form writer?

seaotter ๐Ÿšซ

I've been reading alot of QM's work, especially their magician and healer universe.

There is also Mushroom, al-steiner and aroslav. All of them graciously sharing their universe with us.

Who is your fav long from author here, and in the dead tree world?

@seaotter

Refusenik is probably my favorite, along with Al Steiner, woodmanone, Don Lockwood, Grey Wolf, etc.

Definitely put QM at the top of the list. Tefler isn't too bad either.

Can't really say I've paid attention to the authors, though. I like long-form stories in general, so who writes them isn't nearly as important as the quality of the writing. Some of the authors might write long, but the stories don't connect with me for any of a hundred reasons.

Lazlo certainly gets on the list, too.

Probably the #1 author that comes to mind would be A Strange Geek with his Haven Series. I dearly wish the next book would be completed so I can find out what happens!

I'm afraid there's little chance he's going to return. His email is no longer available which means he hasn't logged in for 5+ years.

Not quite.

1 year to turn off email forms.

5 years to archive stories.

Some that have already been mentioned are Lazlo, Reluctant Sir, Don Lockwood, Al Steiner and Aroslav.

One that hasn't been mentioned, but is right up there is Ryan Sylander.

David Weber from Baen has to be right up there.
