Should be almost completely safe, in my opinion. And it's a good read.

Well, unless you mind even ex-girlfriends in other relationships kept as close friends, but no more than friends, at least until they're single again.

Direct sharing never happen beyond occasional kissing games in few double or triple dates (by one girl's insistence), kept to rather strict rules, and go nowhere more. There's also situation or two where two committed couples have sex in the same car, but little happens between the couples.

In general Pete see himself as intensely monogamous and mostly expect the same in return, and respect other relationships. He never stops loving anyone though, and two girls at once have happened.

I think the most that ever happened is that the girls held hands. *gasp*

I tried hard to make this as close to "real life possible", in the time setting of the 1980's. Largely normal teens, so no crazy orgies, some things that for that time would seem very outrageous, but would be dull to most porn watchers today.

But ultimately, it is about Pete's life, and his growing up.

That does not happen at all in the story.

It is basically a man growing up, and there is almost no sharing at all. The closest is some cases where the main character and his GF do some swapping with other couples, where pretty much all they do is kiss. This is High School in 1980's after all, no crazy orgies. Not much more "swapping" than the Archie-Betty-Veronica-Reggie relationship in the comics.

And no "multiple people", other than a few select situations, all are FFM.

Any time. And feel free to scream at me if it ends up not being to your liking.

But remember going in, I am playing some mind games as I write it, with a lot of foreshadowing throughout the story, and with an unreliable narrator. Not insane as in The Joker, simply one that is basically telling his life story, and is not aware of everything going on at the time.

Think of a man telling about forming a business, and describing how incredible his partner is. Not realizing that is partner is embezzling huge amounts of money and fucking his wife behind his back as he does so.

And no, that does not happen, but it shows how a sane and non-malevolent narrator can be telling the truth, and unknowingly not the truth. He only sees things through his own eyes, and is not omnipotent.

@Mushroom

omnipotent

More Proofreading:
"Omnipotence means God is all-powerful. This means God has supreme power and has no limitations. Omniscience means God is all-knowing. ... Omnipresence means God is everywhere at the same time."

I suspect your narrator is not Omniscient rather than not Omnipotent.

Or maybe impotent?

I suspect your narrator is not Omniscient rather than not Omnipotent.

So you believe that while his narrator isn't all-knowing, he IS all-powerful?

Or maybe just a legend in his own mind?

Naw. Both the narrator of that series, as well as the author are both known to be both humble, as well as able to rush in where angels fear to tread.
