I've read the first four chapters of Book 3, and I'm not finding the same enjoyable story I read before the hiatus. Other than the sabatoge incident at the very beginning, the plot progression seems to have ground to a halt in favor of planning in excruciating detail and monologues by Paul disguised as conversations. I'm sure a lot of people love that stuff, but I prefer action, and there hasn't been much of that yet.
Because there are close to 7,000 votes for the story, if these new chapters were getting lower scores, that wouldn't make a dent in the score. So I don't know if it's just me being grumpy.
Does the plot ever pick up?
