At the end of chapter 8 of Jack Green's Dual and Duality there is a peace of text missing. The chapter ends with "... had said was 'Kismet, Hardy!' Kismet bei". The end-paragraph tag /p is also missing.
Does anyone know what the rest of the sentence should be?
That's not a typical break, so it may be a system glitch during posting. But either way, you should always alert the author so they can repost the chapter. If the problem is localized to you—for whatever reason—they'll be able to confirm whether they can see the full chapter or not.
Of course, why didn't I think of that. I'm still not used to being able to contact an author directly. I sent Jack a message.

I got a reply from the author where he stated the sentence should be: "What the dying Admiral had said was 'Kismet, Hardy!' Kismet being the Arabic word for 'destiny'."
'Fate' and 'Destiny' are synonyms so it should be ok.
