This is about blacknight99's story 'The Addicted Natural' and it's subsequent story 'Auntie' s Island'. I don't normally post reviews or my thoughts on stories that I read online. But this affected me so much that I just HAVE to get my feelings out there.
At first, I liked this story very much. Despite the setting and atmosphere of the story, I like how the Main character straddles the line between good and evil in regards to mind control and his harem. I like how the scenes are never the same, how the Smut plays an important role in the plot. I found the writing a bit of a chore to read sometimes though. I would have easily given this story a 9/10 because I liked the execution so much. That all changed when I discovered that there was a sequel!
I was looking forward to it, I wanted to read more about these interesting characters. It turns out I HATED IT! If the first book was about romance, and about love. This was horror for me!!! The author took these characters that I've grown to love, put them in an island with a succubus that just absolutely manipulated them for her own perceived righteous reasons. They took them apart, and took advantage of them, emotionally and sexually. All I could see was rape. It was ironic since this story was about mind control, and the sex could have been seen by readers as non Consensual. But at its core, the sex at the first book was about love. This one, it was just about 'destiny', or a 'higher purpose' or some shit like that, I couldn't even finished the story and just skimmed the rest of it. I absolutely hated itttttt ughhhh I don't think I can ever read this book again, which is a damn shame.
