I just wanted to point out a simple idea that could be used in stories but has potential to be a massive point of argument.
Never once in the Bible does it say that other Gods/Goddesses do not exist... in fact, it actually implies that they DO exist.
Religious people following the Bible tend to believe/insist that their God is the only God thus all other religions are false and therefore evil. However never once in the Bible does it say that. Instead it says that anyone that worships him shall not worship any other other gods .. which implies that there are indeed other gods.
It also states (in various forms) not to have any false idols/graven images. Technically an idol is a carven image that represents a divinity to act as a focus for worship/prayer or a touchstone of the faith. People use the false idols argument to deny other faiths saying they are false because their gods don't exist. However, in point of fact, what would make them false would be a person not of their faith having one. Which is the whole point of the "Thou shall not have/worship false idols/graven images" commandment... The commandment is not saying that those gods/goddesses do not exist, just that if you worship the God of the Bible then having idols/graven images for other religions is wrong personally. It is just like being a vegetarian...if you choose to be a vegetarian then you should no longer keep a package of bacon in your fridge/freezer because that contradicts your dietary choice. An idol only becomes false if used by a non-believer of that religion or if used as art.
