This is so painfully obvious whenever congress debates anything around modern technology and you can tell so many of these people stopped paying attention to technology some time around the mid-sixties. Every hearing I've seen about the internet in congress melts my brain.

There have been many cases where some people at 80 to 90 years of age are better at making good decisions than Elon Musk has ever been. What would be more useful would be to limit the time anyone can serve in the congress to be 16 years as a senator and 16 years as a congressperson. That would clear out a lot of the garbage.

One time I spoke to a client on the phone who was sharp and quick. He sounded like an intelligent 45 year-old. I was totally blown away when I later found out that he was 95 at the time we spoke.
Some lucky people retain their mental faculties into advanced age.
I sure hope I would sound like that man when I'm 75 let alone 95.

As if they'd pass that law. Some are talking about term limits on Supreme Court Justices, but never about their own.

He is an idiot. The reverse should be true.
If they all are at least 70 when they first stand then;
1. Automatic term limit.
2. Reduces the time we have to pay their exorbitant pension.
3. Increases the likelihood of them actually having to work for a living before standing.
