For those of us who typically write a complete novel and have it thoroughly edited and proofed before publishing, waiting anywhere from 6 months to a full year is par for the course.
But anytime you need assistance, click the Contact Link at the top of the home page. If you're unsure during posting, you can also ask the Admins during posting, and if you screwed anything up, they can immediately intervene and ensure it succeeds. All of the admins are incredibly easy to work with, but requesting assistance beforehand generally saves a lot of time!
No, that's not the problem. I post each chapter as I finish them. Due to covid it took longer for this chapter and like I said I think I had a brain fart because I haven't posted for months and maybe hit some wrong button or something. Once I realized I was screwed I tried to re submit and now the works REALLY seem to be jammed up. HELP PLEASE! Thank you. that will conclude tonight's tirade.
Okay, I'll go through one error I made in the past, see if it helps you.
When you go through the chapter posting wizard, when you get to the point of adding your text, if you do it by attaching a file you have to click the attach file button.
Before you click attach file all you get is a save button and a cancel button and the save button doesn't submit the chapter for posting.
Once you hit the attach file button the buttons on the bottom switch from cancel and save to submit and cancel.
I screwed that up once myself, forgot to hit the attach file then saved.
The good news is if you saved it, you can get back to it and finish it up correctly.
