I see he last posted a chapter to that story on March 16 2020.
His most recent blog entry was by TeNderLoin (a very bad sign) - https://storiesonline.net/ablog/Joe_J - maybe if you asked him what is going on.
I wish I knew. I haven't heard from him in several months of trying to get hold of him.

Hopefully he will post an update soon. He really does have a knack for writing stories that are captivating and difficult to put down.
