I've posted several chapters at once. I'd post the entire story at once if it wasn't for the fact you find more readers when you do it by chapter.

You can submit all your remaining chapters to SOL with a scheduled release date for each if you want.

The automated submission is your best bet. As for how often to post, that's always a subject of discussion, as no two authors agree. For me, I like to pace it for my next book, so there aren't long delays between books. Thus I only post two chapters a week. Ernest posts once-a-day, and doesn't worry (as much) about delays.

Stretching the posting out over time allows more readers to see the story (in case someone only checks in occasionally). Posting on a regular basis allows readers to anticipate and look for the story at specific times. If you're going to change/speed-up your postings, I'd inform your readers with a blog and end-of-story post.

I've found that you have to upload the first chapter to get the story 'registered' with the SoL wizard system. Once that is done it's easy to pre-load the other chapters to be made available on future dates - I do it all the time. And, yes, sometimes I notice an error after I've put the file in the system. In those cases I update the file, go into the wizard, use the 'view' option, then use the 'modify' option (middle at the bottom of the window) and then select the change option for what I want to change - the file in this case, and load the new file. Much easier than deleting and uploading again.

I posted my 20 Chapter Book II of "Dawn Of The Federation" in one go. It took a day or two to come up, due to the fact that iw was 100K words long, so it needed processing, but theoretically there is no limit.

Technically, the upload is limited to 20 files, but you can put several chapters into a single file. The system detects new Chapters by finding lines saying :

Chapter XX: Title

Theoretically you could put 50 Chapters in one huge file and post them in one go.
