I think for me once I feel the characters turned a corner and fully evolved - its not as interesting to me to continue.

Example: I wrote a story about a woman's transformation from failed domme to submissive. Once she got there - I lost interest.

It was the journey that mattered.

I think also after you cum, it's like you never want to see that person again/just go to sleep so that may have something to do with it.

I've found myself physically (and emotionally) affected by the stories I've written, when I was writing them and then during the first editing. After that, it becomes a case of you know what's cumming (pun intended for Richard). so it doesn't have nearly the same impact upon you as it did the first couple of times.

Having had the enjoyment of writing sucked out of me by the state school system, I started up again when I couldn't find any erotic stories covering my particular kink. I never shared what I wrote.

I graduated into science fiction (some of which I shared, most of which I didn't finish) then arrived on SOL and started experimenting.

Over the years, I've found exactly two stories (not on SOL) that match my kink and they were both ruined by technical inaccuracies. I still have a fondness for my early stories ;-)
