I just saw a notification on a story that I had not seen before. Where it usually lists the new chapter(s) or conclusion, it says 'Rewrote/Expanded Story'.
It's nice to see when a previously concluded book is added to or modified.

I'd rather be notified about 'Rewritten/Expanded' stories.
I'd be suspicious about the quality of the grammar in any 'Rewrote Story'. :-)
Whenever a repost changes the size of a story significantly, we announce it.
Previously, the story was set as finished, but the author reposted it and it went up in size by about 50% and the chapters were more numerous, but the ending was still the same paragraph.
So that deserves an announcement.

This was the first time I had ever seen the message so I thought it was something new.
I've searched the database and found 136 such announcements made over the past 18 years.
So while not new, it's rare enough that most people don't stumble upon it.
