We've had many discussions on style guide and grammar issues for fiction writing. In the last thread on this I mentioned I'd started such a document but hadn't finished. Some others were also doing similar work. We had email discussions about working together, but found we had different aims, so we went our own ways. I said I'd announce when I finished it and had it publisher ready - well it is. My aim with the grammar is to cover where you should vary from what the academic and business style guides say.
I've now finished my style guide and it's available at:
www.lulu.com/shop/ernest-bywater/fiction-writing-style-guide/ebook/product-23095260.html
I have made it available through Amazon, Nook, Kobo, Apple, B&N, and Lulu as a free e-pub. It will take the other publishers some time to suck it from Lulu and make it available there. It does include my previous writing guides, too
I do not insist you have to do things the way i set, but have set out what I see as the best way of doing things, and often say why.
