I've been rereading Florida Friends again, and have been wondering who Dual Writer had in mind when creating the Blues Band noted in "Steve and Chuck Go Sailing" and subsequent stories in this series.
While I like Jazz and Blues, I am not real familiar with the various groups and their style. So, if someone has a clue as to the group/groups used for the story I would appreciate it.

I have a friend who lives on Siesta Key just south of Tampa. When Milton took aim on Siesta they evacuated. They have a security camera that caught the wind blasting in one direction, then dead calm, and a few minutes later the wind was blasting the other direction.
So, if someone has a clue as to the group/groups used for the story I would appreciate it.
I didn't think it was based on any real band. I mean, which real band has so many of their offspring guesting. But I alway had a kind of Tedeschi Trucks Band in my head when I was reading the saga.
