How are you "publishing authors" going about creating or obtaining Cover Art for your projects?
It seems all my efforts wind up reminding me of the 1970's "No Ad" grocery products.

I find images on sites like Creative Commons, Pexels, etc. and then read the licensing terms to make sure I can use them for commercial use. Then I use GIMP on my Mac to make the cover.
I hire freelancers on Fiverr to produce them for me. The artist I found is from Sri Lanka and usually does my covers in less then 2 days. Costs around $50 for epub and paperback covers with the artwork files included.
See my book 2 and 5 for very specific artwork tied to key plot points in each book. https://bookapy.com/a/75/chad-brink
The paperback covers include backs with blurbs etc. You would need to provide the actual format size and page count so the custom image fine matches the full cover dimensions.
I have a family member that studied media design, and I shamelessly took advantage of that.
Though, I'll have to look for an alternative for the one book I published on here...
I've used Canva and Dreamtime. The latter has worked well and often only use a portion of the image.
All my three books on Bookapy have covers from canva, and stock photos from either canva or other free-use stock photo sites.
