Medical vibrators for men

Stuprator ๐Ÿšซ

I'm writing a story that involves the use of a medical vibrator (specifically, the Ferticare 2.0) on a male patient to acquire a sperm sample and wondered if anyone here has any experience with such a device i.e. what it feels like in use. Obviously a rather personal question but it would help the story. I have some experience with non-medical varieties but I understand the medical-grade versions are much more intense. Any help would be appreciated - Stuprator

The guy said it felt weird and it wasn't working for him. Who knows, maybe he finally got there in a later video. He also said that vibrator could give a person a stroke.

It can cause problems in people with spinal cord injuries, including heightened blood pressure and severe headaches. There is a medication they can take prior to avoid or mitigate the symptoms. However, the patient in my story will not have such an injury, but will have a different problem.

A vibrator seems an odd choice for the stated purpose. I would think something on the order of a medical grade Fleshlight would be more effective.

I am aware of only two devices currently in use in the medical field that are considered "approved" for clinical use, at least in the United States: The Ferticare device (currently 2.0 model) and the Viberect device. There does exist a Chinese device which is more like what you suggest, in that it simulates a vagina. Basically it's a large box that you stand next to and insert your penis into the hole, which then jerks you off. However, this latter device is (to my knowledge) not available outside of China. It also requires the patient to stand, whereas the other two devices are hand-held and easily used by a nurse with the patient in a reclining position. I suppose a clinic without any of these could resort to a commercial sex toy, but depending on the patient these might not be powerful enough to induce an ejaculation.

There's always electrical stimulation of the prostate as is done with Bulls for semen collection.

I am aware of that option, as well as more invasive surgical procedures if ejaculation simply cannot be induced at all, but I'd imagine most patients would prefer to try the vibrator first (or the Chinese device, if available).

I can't imagine the vibrator being in any way effective in any case where a Fleshlight style device wouldn't be enough.

The stimulation technique is different. Also, medical vibrators are much more powerful than conventional ones - the typical user of a regular vibrator wants to last a little while before finishing, so too much power is bad, whereas for medical purposes it's fine if the patient ejaculates quickly, since collecting a sperm sample is the goal and the pleasure is incidental. In any case, doctors' reports say that the medical vibrators do work on the majority of patients, most of whom have spinal cord damage, and given the hefty price tag for the devices, if clinics could get the same results with Fleshlights I'm sure they'd take the cheaper route.

Penile Vibratory Stimulation and Electroejaculation

An electric probe or electroejaculator is inserted into the rectum and positioned against the prostate. Using increasing frequency and amplitude of energy, ejaculation is stimulated.

I'm confused. What sort of energy are they talking about? I'm aware of devices that physically massage the prostate to cause ejaculation, and also devices that stimulate the ejaculatory system with electricity passing between two electrodes.

If the description is correct, it sounds like they are describing a dual-function device that both massages the prostate and uses electricity, so the energy would presumably be vibrational.

Thank you, Michael.

P.S. for anyone who's curious, here's a video I found which shows what the Ferticare looks like and how it's used (using a rubber penis, not a real one):

Note that you do need to be signed in to watch it. Some of the details only apply to its use on men with spinal cord injuries, so the references to checking blood pressure and headaches wouldn't apply to its use on someone without such an injury.
