Yesterday another author posted in their blog that some stories that are posted here were showing up on a different site:

I pinged one of the authors, woodwiz, whose stories are there and he said that he did not authorize the use of his stories there. Some of the rest of you might want to check on yours but most of the authors I recognized have gone silent here on SOL so I wouldn't know how to contact them.
I looked through it, and what struck me right away is that there is absolutely no way to submit stories. And yes, I looked through many and saw they were really old, many of them from the ASSTR era.
I even laughed when I saw one that was about 20 years old, and the author never finished it, and stopped updating it 9 years ago.
And is funny, but I do not recognize "Clohi". They claim to have posted on ASSTR, but found no stories under that name. And the stories they claimed to have written were like really short. Like in, 2-20k long, typical of what cluttered up ASSTR 2 decades or more ago.
Seems like just another of the type of places that has plagued the community for decades. Just somebody stealing the work of others. I did a fast look, but recognized none of mine. But I would be interested to see if they actually follow-up on a DMCA demand.

I agree. But it also takes more than "I meet girl, I talked to girl, I fucked girl".
However, if anybody wants a good laugh, they even have some system that gives how long it should take to read the stories. One of them was literally like 8 paragraphs, and it said it should take 45 minutes to read.
But if any remember the stuff from ASSTR 25 years ago, they should have an idea of what I was talking about. Many of us started that way, and some never advanced beyond that.
I notice they have Sage Mullins' Lightning in a Bottle posted there too.

Searched a couple of well known stories. Looks like they lifted Al Steiners work amongst others.
Lazlo Zalezac has at least one story there, I saw "A Fowl Affair" there. I don't think that story was ever on AssTr, unless it was in someone's Collection.
