Yesterday, the 15th, I released an update to the submission wizard improving the whole thing and specifically the paste text function.
Previously, if you start a submission and don't properly complete it or get interrupted before doing the final submission, then everything you did gets lost.
That behaviour mostly hurt amateur or technically challenged users who used the paste box to type their stories.
Now, every submission gets saved as it progresses, and if you decide to type in your text manually, it will auto-save it every 60 seconds.
You can consider it a draft system, only it doesn't keep it for an unlimited time. A incomplete submission's auto-saved data gets deleted after 30 days of inactivity.
When you click the Wizard, any auto-saved entries will be listed on top with two links, one to resume and the other one to discard the entry.
This is not a replacement for the shortcuts function. It's useable once to submit something and then it gets deleted.
