I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has messaged me after my first blog entry and made me feel welcome! Thank you!
I also want to thank everyone for the advice and suggestions you have sent. The feedback has been excellent, including editing advice from some of you, which I really need as someone who suffers from severe dyslexia.
I have to admit I was a little surprised by all the positive comments I have received. After a few months of the crudity and immature antics on X, along with a big heaping of nastiness, it is so refreshing to have people who, even if they aren't praising me, can offer criticism in a constructive, positive way.
Anyways, I just wanted to say I have loved all the feedback, and please feel free to keep it coming.
Some people have asked about when I started writing and which of the published stories are my oldest ones. Truthfully, about 2.5 months ago. I wrote 2 "test stories" I never published, which were fairly short (for me at least). Of my stories, the first three in my Infidelity Series are my oldest, and I feel I need to revisit and clean them up, since I wasn't as good at editing then, so there are more typos, grammar issues, etc.
The Broken Vows Series is my most recent work. I started those a few weeks ago after I had finished the 7th story in my Infidelity series.
I think I have grown somewhat as a writer, but I obviously have a long way to go. That is why I asked for people's thoughts on how to improve.
Anyways, thanks for all of your input and suggestions.
I am currently about 1/2 done with the next Broken Vows story, which will be from the wife's perspective. There will be 1, maybe 2 more in that until the flashbacks end, and then we'll move forward in time/setting. I maybe do an extra story before we move into just the current time from Cindy's perspective, which will be a new person to add, but I think it will be fun, as I have big plans for her, and some background for her could be fun and will help explain why things have developed the way they have with our unfortunate couple Sarah and Nick.
Thanks again for all your support and advice!
Love,
Beth
