I was reading a book from the Zbook store using Kindle on my tablet. For some reason, I wanted search to compare the downloaded version with the on line version. So I opened Chrome and pulled up Facebook. Could not find the Advanced search tab. The whole header looked wrong. Stupid dummy head, you need Stories On Line, not Facebook. Exit Facebook, open S.O.L. opened the advanced tab. I entered the first word in the book's name. ANDROMEDA. Showed two stories, either of which was what I was looking for. So,I tried again, nope, not there. I can't spell worth shit, so back to Kindle to see how to spell it. Had it right, entered Andromeda again. Nope. So over to the Zbook store to look at the book on my book shelf. There it sat. Full name Andromeda: Echoes of Tomorrow. So what the fuck. Went back to the posted stories in the Stream. Started at the bottom of the page and went up. Ran across a posted blog by the author, Sol Tangoran. Tapped on his name to pull up his stories. Unlike the book, the story was listed as Echoes ofTomorrow. No damned Andromeda in the story name, hince why the Anvanced search function could not find it.
Now, could some body please tell me what and why I needed to compare the Kindle version the to the on line version? After all the trying to find it, I have absolutely no idea why.
Of all the things I lost, I miss my mind the most. Somebody once told me the great part of dementia is all the new people you new places you will go. That ain't funny no more.
Oh, by the way it is a great a great story, ya ought to read it.
