Thank you all! I got more than a dozen unique answers (and a few repeat customers), and every one said "Tell him to publish!"
Of course, several of them followed that up with "If it's crap, we're gonna let him know." but I feel confident that the first few chapters, at least -the ones that are finished- will go well. I can't answer for the rest. It isn't written yet.
