Thanks for all your patience! A special Thank You to my loyal followers. You have been exceptionally patient with me.
A quick update to let you know what has been going on with Jumping the Fence. At first I simply started writing Chapter 18. However, I realized that unless I sat down and outlined the entire story, I would simply wind up where I was before, namely, writing one chapter at a time with potential for inconsistencies and a meandering overall story.
As such, I decided to do a full rewrite of the story so far. There have been a few typos, grammar and punctuation errors and minor inconsistencies that crept in and that needed to be taken care of. Another thing that the rewrite accomplished was to allow me to read the entire story with my editor hat on and that allowed me to better outline the entire storyline.
So, as you can see, I am not done with this story but it is a rather large undertaking given that I am not by any means a full-time author. I hope that once this major editorial undertaking is complete and I have a story outline, I can return to a regular cadence and finish this story.
Ironically, I have over 25 story outlines for much larger stories and Jumping the Fence was originally intended to be a single-chapter short story to test the waters. Instead it is now at 17 Chapters and counting!
So once again, please bear with me for some more time and I will be back soon.
