I am preparing a story in the Axeman shared universe.
I am beginning to describe my characters and the plan is to base it in Tulsa Oklahoma.
I have a friend who lived there in the 1970s. He is part of the reason I want to base it there.
One of my characters will be an American Indian, one a white person, and one a Maori person.
I am also looking for information about the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and the Adventist Academy in Tulsa as well as Will Rogers and the high school named after him, and the Native American Church, and the Cherokee Nation.
I feel more comfortable writing a story where I know something about the world these folks live in.
If you are willing to share your knowledge about any of these subjects, please tell me.
