Chapter Fourteen is live.
James has spent thirteen chapters being useful. This is the one where being useful is not enough, and where he does something small and unkind and then has to go and find the person he did it to. Writing an apology that is allowed to fail was harder than writing anything else in this book so far. I hope it lands.
