The story rating is low because it took me a long time to properly rewrite it. This takes place in the 70s & 80s. Two Army buddies get the boot from the service with tens of thousands of others after Jimmy Carter enters the White House. He killed the military. The two guys end up sharing an apartment. A cute little blonde arrives unannounced for one of them. It gets complicated then. Eventually, the buddy moves out. Later, the blonde's baby sister joins them. The Avon Lady part comes later. That small part is an homage to woman that work from home.
