I am out of the hospital and finally getting over the brain fog from the anesthesia. Going to get the book I was working on posted even though it's not quite finished and I don't know when I will get back to it. Got something else hammering on the closet door screaming to get out.
I want to ask the SOL readers to help me out with something. I have a bit of a poem stuck in my head and can't remember the book I read it in. It goes like this:
"By the light of burning bridges,
I see there's no one left in range.
The stars are dust, the guns are rust
And the checkpoints have all changed.
Are the Shadows ahead the beckoning dead
Or the rescue squad returning?
The only light in my eyes tonight
Is the light of bridges burning."
If you know what the title of the book or the author is, please drop me a note.
Thanks to all.
