Good day! I'll start with an observation, I've noticed a lot of authors blogging about AI, whether they are pro or con. I see a lot of 'con' on here and honestly, I appreciate that. I enjoy reading from a person, it gives a good glance into their inner psyche. I love a peek into the mind of a person. As for myself, I don't want a machine taking, or receiving, credit for my twisted imagination. All my writing is mine (I'm sure you can tell by the terrible editing, obviously not done by a machine).
That said, I do use Google search for things like 'How do I safely wash a silk garment?' or 'Can Botox be safely cooked out of meat?' (A search for 'Finding My Sister's Killer') I'll use it for research purposes, like 'Tell me everything I need to know about prison riots' or even for spelling 'How do I correctly spell experiance??'Yes, I am notorious for placing the letter 'a' in places it shouldn't be.
I believe that AI is a tool, like a calculator. It should never be used in place of one's BRAIN. At least, that is how I feel about it. I won't demonize someone for using it for more than 50% of their writing though, sometimes you need training wheels before you're biking the Tour de France. However to that note, there are so many people out there willing to help too. (I say as I myself am far too anxious and scared of actually ASKING for help. T_T There really is something fundamentally broken about me...)
Alrighty! AI rant done, off the podium for me!
I've recently submitted the second installment of Cw/oC for posting so hopefully it will be up soon. I want to thank everyone for the reception! It seems to be more popular than my other writings (With the exception of FMSK pt2?? Do people not like part 1's? That stat surprised me.) Anyway, this second installment may be a bit slow with moving plot, my hopes for it was a little more explaining (though I think I got lost somewhere as it's similar to how my brother and I would converse about something. We get distracted easily.)
More for my little updating. I'm not sure if I will have an installment for Adrianna's story this coming Sunday. Things are a little off here and I am charged with homesteading for at least two weeks, possibly three. That's on top of other life routines. Yay. The other night there was a coyote close by so this should be fun. Wish me luck...
