David finds himself on the run from the FBI and a drug kingpin who is involved with his wife. One want to put him in protective custody and the other wants to kill him. While on the run he begins a new career that is totally alien to this previous life as a college math professor. Not only is it different he finds he is good at it with his mentor showing him the way. He has a few bumps along the way and even picks up a new love interest or perhaps a potential love interest as roles are still being defined.
