Hello readers,
I took a week off from blogging, but it's time to get back at it. Let's go through some things.
The Science Club Series (aka Snowed In and Aftermath) - How's everyone liking it so far? I'm not getting a lot of feedback on these but views on Aftermath have improved somewhat from the first chapter to the newest one. I'm about to start work on Episode Three likely this week, so just want to ask how people are feeling on it. This upcoming week is the final chapter in the episode and I'll make sure to call out that the story will continue in Episode 3 - The Room Drama.
I've had a blast writing these, it is fun to juggle the different characters and come up with subplots and character beats for each of them. Feel free to let me know what you like or dislike about the series. Things you might like to see in the future or maybe things I should avoid. I do have plans up to Episode Five, but is that something people would like to read?
Trapped at the Sex Party - Soooooo... I gather people aren't enjoying this very much. I wanted to try something new and it seems it didn't hit the mark. Not much I can do about it now, I suppose. It is pretty clear people would NOT like more of these characters, so I changed the end note asking for simple feedback on the story. This was probably too difficult of an idea for me to pull off with my limited writing abilities, so I'll try to avoid this in the future. At least you can tell I don't use AI, lol.
What am I working on right now? Just finishing up a short story (3 chapters) that will replace Aftermath when it concludes. There will be a Wednesday where there will be nothing, sadly, but then The Family Reunion will begin. It isn't very long due to it being a replacement for the mess that became of the previous planned story, The Great Camp, so I hope it is acceptable. I'm also working on the next batch of Jane Finds Herself, and that has been shaping up nicely. I look forward to sharing that with all of you September 20th. By chapter 12, it'll be the longest (by word count) story I'll have written with plenty more to come.
That's it for this week, not a very long one I'm afraid. I'm feeling down about Trapped not performing but what can you do. I'll push forward with something new and hopefully better.
