Struggling a bit here, so let me get into it.
I'm working on something for June, a new story and I'm struggling to find the fun in it. I can't tell if it's story itself or whether I'm just struggling to write. I think (and hope) it's the former. I need to re-evaluate the context and narrative of the story, which sucks. Has any other writer here had that happen? I would assume so. I know I don't match up to the author types here on this site. I don't make grand illusions of writing novels or anything of substance. I write sex stories. That's what I do for fun; it is what I enjoy doing for the people who want to read them.
I remember a while back conversing with a reader and they called my stories smut. I don't think they meant it in a bad way, and I've become quite taken with the term. I don't know, it does feel like some people on this site look down on people like me, and others, who write these types of stories. I have no pretensions about my writing. Sure, it could be better and I strive to improve, but it'll never be published or anything. It's free and will stay free for people to enjoy.
Sorry for rambling there. This week is more of the same, Sister's Servant chapter 14 on Wednesday and Jane Finds Herself chapter 3 on Saturday. Not much to say on either of these at this point. I sort of feel like you're either in or out on both of these, at this point. If you are out, that's cool, no worries. I hope the next new story I write will be up your alley, but I can't please everyone all the time. If you are in, thank you for supporting me. My payment is just in views and the self-satisfaction I get from seeing number go up.
Sorry, this week's blog is more glib than normal. I think struggling has made me crack a bit, so I'll stop here. I hope next will have better results.
