At the moment, this story stands at 13,500 words, with approximately 10,000 words remaining to bring it to a close. Along with that, I have several ideas for shorter stories lingering in my mind. However, I must admit that I am feeling slightly disheartened by the lukewarm reception of this work. It begs the question: is it worth publishing them here, or should I pack my things and turn my focus towards other projects? Only time will tell.
