I ended this chapter, with a cliffhanger. Sorry not sorry, but I had to.
I am trying to keep my chapters at 250 lines, in Notepad++, which is the app I use to get from paper to bits and bytes.
This seems to work, because 250 lines (word count varies wildly) usually works to equal one Legal Pad (8x14) of paper, on which my tales are born. A couple of chapters do run longer, as that's just how the story went.
