The only Black Friday shopping I'm doing is for a new tire. I hit a curb yesterday by accident. Didn't damage the wheel, but blew the sidewall out on the tire. I had the donut on in 10 minutes, then five minutes for the compressor to inflate the donut to 60 psi from flat.
It's funny, but way back when I was going through testing to get on at the car factory, one of the skill tests they made us do was change tires on a board. Literally pick up a full tire and put it on studs, screw them down, then take them off again. You were timed on how fast you could do that. Of course, when it came time to actually do that in the factory, you'd put the tire on the car, hand start the five lug nuts, then bring this big machine in that would tighten all five of them at the same time and properly torque them, too. Took about 30 seconds per tire. The big dinosaur in the back, though, that mounted the tires on the wheels and balanced them? It could do a full set of five (the four and the spare) in 90 seconds.
