May the Fourth be with you, always.
I’ve submitted Chapter 18 of “Aiden and the Ring” for posting. Aiden and Kendra spend some quality time in the park and she reveals her darkest secret. Chapter 19 is also now available on my Discord for supporters.
Now that I’m back and have gotten most of the beach sand from my clothes, I’m plugging hard on “Aiden and the Ring” while also continuing to scope out the work needed for “The Immortal.” So fear not, Jim is never far from my mind.
Oh, and as of the 30th, the poll closed for the next major story. It’s a tie: “Aiden Ascending” and “My First Gig.” So…. Hmm, I guess I’ll work both. There’s enough muses to go around.
Before I took my holiday, I posted two short side-stories for supporters on my Discord server. At the end of the month, I’ll be placing them for sale on Bookapy. They’re short, so think inexpensive and any proceeds support both the site and my future writing. The first one describes what happened to Mi right after she left Iakovos. The other provides a glimpse into the life of the previous ring “owner” and explains how it ended up in the muddy, rain-swept field.
Sequels to both will most likely be forthcoming as I rather enjoy the characters and their situations. Think more of a pleasant treat every once in a while, rather than a planned story arc. Embrace the chaos. Once completed, they’ll also be up for supporters on Discord and placed for sale on Bookapy month later.
Oh, and I’ve posted a sneak peek and draft cover for supporters on Discord of the first of an upcoming series of shorts and novellas tracing the rise of a rather talented young man.
And a special shout-out to those of you who’ve been kind enough to buy my works from Bookapy. You rock! Not only am I ever so very grateful for the extra income, but every purchase supports the site to boot. And folks spending hard-earned cash reinforces that I may actually be a sorta, kinda okay writer. Not the best, by far, but good enough that you find my works entertaining. And that to a new writer, dear readers, is utterly priceless. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
