I've not been keeping a particularly rigid timing, but I appreciate it's been a longer break than between the previous chapters.
I lost my mother, unexpectedly, over the Christmas break, and whilst it's not been life-changingly devastating, it's had an impact, and there have been arrangements to be made, my Dad to check up on and I've not really been in the right frame of mind to write.
The funeral was earlier this week, and whilst I'm not one for the idea of 'closure', it's a benchmark, and I think I'll be getting back into writing shortly, so hopefully the next chapter will be on the way soon.
